What resolution and scale should I use in my artwork files?
It’s best to work at 100% scale whenever possible. Often it’s necessary to work at 50% or 25% scale. The resolution requirement for digital images will vary between 72 and 300 dpi depending on the product we’re printing. At the finished output size, use the following resolutions as a guide:
- Banners 75-150 dpi
- Decals 300 dpi
- Point-of-Purchase graphics 300 dpi
- Trade show graphics 150-300 dpi
- Vehicle graphics 150-300 dpi
- Window, wall or floor graphics 75-150 dpi
